The Somewhat Surprising Return of the Hussalonia Robot Singers

A collection of misanthropic songs sung by robots about themes of robotic alienation, robotic love, robotic resentment, robotic workaholic-ism, and hostile robotic takeover. Features backing vocals and real instrumentation provided by Hussalonia founder (and regretfully human) Jesse Mank. As the title suggests, this 2009 release is a reprise of 2003’s (out of print) Hussalonia Robot Singers. The album’s closing track may be the most heartbreaking conversation with a tape recorder you’ll ever hear.
